The maintenance staff is quick and high quality when needed but everything tends to work when you move in. My one complaint is that the rent is too high, not for me specifically but it boxes out a lot of types of people from living in the building, likely including most of the people who work there.

Well priced and very good layout for one bedroom apartments. Staff are helpful and often willing to put in extra effort for your convenience.

It's clean, well-managed, and has friendly staff, but less amenities than other buildings in the DC NOVA area. While it's relatively common for buildings to have rooftop pools, this building does not have a pool or access to the roof. The appliances and countertops are updated, but not modern. My apartment has full wood flooring throughout, which I prefer, but I know a lot of other units have carpet. For the square footage and location right next to the Ballston metro , it's a good value, and the staff is helpful and friendly.

I like the building is proactive to change filters and clean the parking garage etc. In my 2 years of being here, I only had to submit one very minor maintenance request and the maintenance personnel was extremely efficient and fast and resolved my issue. I live right by the elevator and the noise level is totally fine. Neighbors cause no commotion or trouble. The staff are friendly and helpful. A wishful wish would be a bigger gym area, but that's just a space thing, can't be helped. One thing i would like is for the business center computers to be a little more maintained. I don't use them regularly but i do on average of 10 times a year. I noticed that sometimes the Bluetooth mouse is almost dead or unresponsive, or one of the computers is also not working very well. Just wish maybe once or twice every month, the computers are checked. But again, it's a very minor thing for me. Other than that, i enjoy living in my unit very much.

The door to the hallway is a little thin, so sound leaks out pretty easily and walking down the hallway you can hear a bit of what's going on in each apartment, but from inside the apartment, you can't hear anything from the other apartments. The facilities are great and always kept clean and tidy, and the apartment gym is pretty standard for apartments, and gets the job done. The staff is really nice and friendly. Most importantly, the location is unbeatable. Right by the metro and right by the Ballston Quarter too.

It is super convenient to have a business center in the building. They do not have a page limit for printing. The 1B1B is ideal for a single person or even a couple. I am glad to see that thermal control added in the living rooms after I moved in last summer. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the lack of storage space. I wish there could be more space cabinets in the kitchen and one more closet in the bedroom beside the walk-in one. Nevertheless, I would be happy to live here for another year at least.

submitted by Joseph C. - |Recommended: YesHighly recommend No major complaints — Lived here for 2 years without many problems. Maintenance inside the apartment is pretty good and the area is perfect. No bugs or rats. Layouts and balconies are great. Only complaints are small parking spots and slow broken elevators. There was a lot of construction coming from the neighboring apartment which still has a lot of fire alarms going off. Those issues are on the decline. Additionally, the rent increase from one contract to another was only a 2 increase. They try hard to keep existing residents which is fantastic Highly recommend this apartment
